The challenge
Maid in Victoria is a residential cleaning company in Victoria. Their old site ran on WordPress at maidinvictoria.com. Their bookings already ran through Launch27, the scheduling system the business uses every day, so the new site had to work with it rather than replace it.
The brand side came from 8t8 Creative, who looked after the graphics and the look of the company, so the build was a three-way conversation between Amanda, 8t8 Creative, and me.
What I built
A six-page site: home, services, booking, gift cards, reviews, and contact. The booking page puts their Launch27 form inside the new design, so customers choose their clean and book it without leaving the site.
The look came together partway through the build. The palette moved from all pinks to pinks with a teal, and Amanda’s dog became the face of the homepage, pink boots and all.
Customer reviews have their own page, and so do gift cards, for anyone buying a clean as a present.
At handoff I recorded a walkthrough video of how everything works. After the move to the new domain, I also set up their info@maidinvictoria.ca email on Google Workspace.
The result
The new site went live in February on maidinvictoria.ca, with bookings still running through the system the team already knows.
